Our goal is to provide accessible Expert innovative rehabilitative treatment in a timely manner. In order to do so, we have had to implement cancellation policy. This policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients needing urgent assessment and guidance (when a cancellation occurs).

CANCELLATION OF AN APPOINTMENT

In order to be respectful of the medical needs of other patients, please be courteous and call the office promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance. Calling early in the day is appreciated. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another person the possibility to have access to timely rehabilitative care.

No-Show Policy: A "no-show" is someone who misses an appointment without calling 24 hours in advance to cancel. "No-shows" inconvenience those individuals who need access to rehabilitative treatment, as well as the clinician who is more than likely a sub-contracting staff (you don’t show, they don’t get paid). A failure to show up at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded in the patient's chart as a "no-show". The first time there is a "no-show" there will be no charge to the patient. Any additional "no shows" will result in a fee of $30.00 for clinical appointments. This cannot be billed to ACC or your private insurer.

HOW TO CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT:

Phone Us -

To cancel appointments, please call 0800 423 132 and go through to the clinic you are scheduled into. If you do not reach the receptionist you may leave a detailed message on the voice mail. If you would like to reschedule your appointment, please be sure to state:

  • Your phone number
  • The best time to return your call

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time, then there will be a $30.00 cancellation fee.

To cancel appointments, please email us on contact@physioconnect.co.nz or email your Physio directly. When sending the email please ensure you state:

  • Full Name: E.g. John Smith
  • D.O.B: E.g. 01/02/2023
  • Time of Appointment: E.g. Monday 1st at 9:00

This helps the team to quickly find your appointment and cancel this for you.

If the child receiving treatment looks over the age of 14, Physio Connect reserves the right for proof of identification.

PRIVACY ACT

All consent forms filled our by patients adhere to the Health Information privacy Code 2020. Physio Connect does not share any patient information with third parties. To receive your own patient file and notes please be aware you will be asked multiple question to confirm identification. Individuals will not be able to collect patient information for other individuals unless the patient is under the age of 16.
